Attention UCT North America Members,
For more than 65 years, UCT has been dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual disabilities. Since 1961, millions of dollars have been granted in scholarships to thousands of students and teachers pursuing degrees or certification in special education.
UCT Charities Inc. was established in 1997 to continue this important mission. Although UCT no longer exists, as a separate entity UCT Charities Inc. continues to support students and teachers in the field of special education through two scholarship programs: the UCT Charities Scholarship and the UCT Heaston Scholarship.
In an effort to continue strengthening UCT Charities Inc., the Board of Directors is creating a UCT Charities Inc. Advisory Board Committee. The Board is inviting all UCT North America members who are interested in serving on this committee to express their interest.
As the name suggests, the Advisory Board Committee will provide recommendations for expanding the mission of UCT Charities Inc. and may also serve as a pathway for committee members to join the UCT Charities Board of Directors in the future.
